Principles of Project Management

Most students begin projects in pharmacy practice with little project management experience or experience limited to classroom and group projects. The dynamic of project preceptors provides a different approach for students to adjust to. Many students develop approaches to project management based on feedback from initial preceptors, often after trial and error in the initial project steps or initial communication. Although some students are more adept, most could benefit from formal instruction on principles of project management to develop to their fullest potential.
