  • Assess the likelihood of nocardiosis or nontuberculous mycobacterial infection based on patient risk factors, clinical presentation, and available diagnostic criteria.
  • Design an appropriate antibiotic regimen and therapeutic monitoring plan for patients with nocardiosis and nontuberculous mycobacterial infection.
  • Apply antimicrobial stewardship strategies to optimize the care of patients with immunocompromising conditions being considered for long-duration antibiotic therapy.
