Eric M. Grace, MST

Director, Standards Development and Training, Accreditation Services
ASHP

Eric Grace has over 20 years of experience in education management and learning development, with 14 years focused on continuing medical education, healthcare professional development and accreditation. Eric’s passion of creating best-in-class education and training programs has resulted in the positive learning outcomes for over 150,000 professionals. He joined ASHP as Director of Standards Development and Training for the Accreditation Services division in 2017. Prior to this role, Eric was Sr. Instructional Systems Designer at Aspen Dental Management, a dental service organization with over 1,000 locations across the USA. Previously, he served as eLearning Manager at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in the Dean's Office and also at University of Rochester Medical Center, School of Medicine and Dentistry, as Educational Activity Coordinator and Webmaster in the Office of Continuing Professional Education. He has served on a multitude of continuing education, educational standards, and educational technology committees and Boards in various organizations. Early in his career, Eric was an adjunct faculty member and researcher at Rochester Institute of Technology’s College of Computing and Information Sciences and a public high school teacher in the Rochester City School District in New York State. He also founded a small education consulting business during this time. Eric earned his Master of Science in Teaching from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from University at Buffalo.
