Ashley Mains Espinosa is a third-generation pharmacist based in Denver, Colorado, and serves as Vice President of Clinical Operations at DocStation. DocStation is a a pharmacy software partner who is in the business of getting pharmacies paid for services and activating pharmacists provider status. Dr. Mains Espinosa has 20+ of pharmacy experience with time spent in both rural & urban areas and retail, outpatient, & inpatient environments. She has held a variety of leadership roles in informatics, inpatient operations, 340B, procurement, revenue integrity, and intern development. Dr. Mains Espinosa completed her PharmD degree at Ohio Northern University and completed the 2-year Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency and master’s program at the University of Kansas. She received her Lean Black Belt from Denver Health Lean Academy and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information Management Systems through HIMSS.
Dr. Mains Espinosa promotes improvement to medication use in healthcare through involvement in professional organizations locally and nationally. She has held national positions with ASHP, the ASHP Foundation, FIP, and the Pharmacist Services Technical Advisory Coalition (PSTAC). Regionally, she has served on committees in Ohio, Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado societies of health-system pharmacists and currently serves as a Colorado delegate to the APhA House of Delegates. On weekends you can find Ashley at the park with her family or leading walking historic tours in downtown Denver.
