Dr. Cara Baker, PharmD, is a pharmacist project manager with Kaiser Permanente specializing in home infusion pharmacy and sterile compounding. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. At Kaiser, Cara leads the Sterile Compounding Advisory Committee in the development of policies, standard operating procedures, and guidance documents that support the 123 sterile compounding pharmacies across the Kaiser enterprise. In addition to ASHP, Cara is an active member of the National Home Infusion Association and a participant in NHIAs Sterile Compounding Practice Committee.
