Andrea Nei is a critical care pharmacist in the medical ICU at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. After graduating from South Dakota State University she completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY-2 Critical Care Residency at Mayo Clinic. Andrea is the current residency program director for the PGY-2 Pharmacy Residency in Critical Care at Mayo Clinic. She is board certified in Pharmacotherapy and Critical Care and is a Fellow in the American College of Critical Care Medicine. She is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine CPP section, serves as Vice Co-Chair for the SCCM Critical Illness Related Corticosteroid Insufficiency Guideline update, and was the recipient of the ACCP Critical Care PRN Clinical Practitioner Award in 2022. Her clinical and research interests include management of patients with cirrhosis, kidney disorders in the intensive care unit, and use of corticosteroids in the critically ill.
