Allison Cid is a board-certified pharmacist in infectious diseases and clinical pharmacist practitioner (CPP) in the state of North Carolina. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of California San Diego Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Allison completed her PGY1 Pharmacy residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego and her PGY2 Infectious Diseases (ID) Pharmacy residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She is the current ID Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) pharmacist and team lead at the FirstHealth of the Carolinas located in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Her research and practice areas include infectious diseases, outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy, antimicrobial stewardship, and HIV. She is an active member of ASHP, SIDP and ACCP.
