Nathan A. Pinner, Pharm.D., BCPS, FASHP, is an Associate Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice with Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy. Dr. Pinner received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of TN College of Pharmacy and completed his PGY1 residency and PGY2 Internal Medicine Specialty Residency at Methodist University Hospital and the University of TN in Memphis, TN. His practice site is with an inpatient internal medicine teaching service at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. Through this site, he provides patient care to the patients of the internal medicine service, educational sessions to the medical education department, and consultations on pulmonary medicines to patients in the pulmonary rehabilitation program. He has published several peer-reviewed papers on the topics of pulmonary conditions, a book chapter on COPD, and presented posters and presentations at national meetings on these topics. He was the pharmacy representative on the AL COPD coalition. Additionally, he has been recognized by both the University of Alabama Family Medicine Residency and the Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy for his excellence in teaching and precepting.
