National Association of Specialty Pharmacy
Dr Rebekah Anguiano recently joined the NASP team as the new Director of Education. In her prior role as the Clinical Coordinator for Specialty Pharmacy Services at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System (UI Health) and clinical assistant professor at the UIC College of Pharmacy, she was accountable for coordinating specialty pharmacy staff education on emerging therapies as wells as organizing ongoing disease and medication training. Additionally, she oversaw clinical program development, evaluation of program outcomes, and served as faculty and mentor for numerous pharmacy students and residents. In her clinical practice, her area of expertise was managing therapies for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and providing ongoing clinical pharmacy support for the PAH team at UI Health. She also has extensive experience creating and serving as faculty for numerous continuing medical education programs; both online and live. Dr Anguiano has several academic accomplishments including peer-reviewed publications, research abstracts, podium and poster presentations; she has also served as a peer reviewer for multiple journals and educational programs. She is currently a member of ASHP, AMCP, NASP and PHA. She is also a member of the JMCP Editorial Advisory Board.
