Jordan Marie Ballou, PharmD, BCACP is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy & Outcomes Sciences and the Kennedy Pharmacy Innovation Center at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Ballou received her Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Structural Biochemistry from North Carolina State University in 2009 and earned her PharmD at the Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2015. She then was chief resident in the community pharmacy residency program at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy.
Prior to joining the College, she was on faculty the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in the department of pharmacy practice from 2016-2022. In this role, Dr. Ballou was in leadership roles in the School's Skills Laboratory Curriculum and Community Residency Program. She also practiced at Tyson Drug Company and served as the Lead Network Facilitator for the Community Pharmacy Enhanced Services Network of Mississippi.
Dr. Ballou currently serves as the Director of the College's Community-Based Residency Programs. Her research interests include practice transformation and implementation of clinical services in the community pharmacy setting to increase access to care for patients in rural areas.
