Jeff Olson, PharmD, MBA, BCACP is a System Pharmacy Operations Director at Intermountain Health with over 17 years of ambulatory care experience. In his current role, Dr. Olson leads pharmacy population health and value-based care strategy and operations for Intermoutain. Under his leadership at Intermountain, ambulatory care pharmacy services have expanded more than 10-fold across population health, primary care and specialty clinics. He established the Intermountain PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency Program Director and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. Prior clinical practice experience includes primary care, diabetes, anticoagulation, and heart failure. Dr. Olson completed his undergraduate training at Snow College in Ephraim, UT. In 2004 he was awarded his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Utah. He completed an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP)-accredited pharmacy practice residency at Southwest Washington Medical Center (now Peacehealth Southwest Medical Center) in Vancouver, WA. Dr. Olson was recognized as Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist in 2016. He attained his MBA from the University of Utah Executive MBA program in 2017.
