Brett Faine is a Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine (EM) and Pharmacy at the University of Iowa, the Director of Research Operations in the Department of EM, and a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in the Emergency Department (ED) at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He is a co-PI for the Emergency Medicine PHARMacotherapy Research NETwork (EMPHARM-NET), a research network including 17 geographically diverse EDs across the US with a mission to evaluate interventions in the ED. His research interests include evaluating pharmacotherapy interventions in the ED, infectious diseases, and sepsis.
