Dr. Caroline Sierra is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy and is a board certified pediatric pharmacy specialist. She practices in general pediatrics at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital where she precepts students, as well as PGY1 and PGY2 residents. She also coordinates the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and directs the PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency at Loma Linda University Health. Dr. Sierra received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy, after which she completed her PGY1 Pharmacy and PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy residencies at Loma Linda University Health. She currently serves on the Council for Education and Workforce Development and the Pediatric Section Advisory Group for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. In addition, Dr. Sierra is actively involved in local, state, and national professional organizations, including the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and the Pediatric Pharmacy Association. Her scholarship is focused on pediatric pharmacotherapy and student pharmacist and pharmacy resident education and training.
