Associate Professor of Practice, Pharmacogenomics Clinical Pharmacist

Natasha Petry, PharmD, MPH, BCACP, is currently an Associate Professor of Practice at North Dakota State University (NDSU), and a Pharmacogenomics Clinical Pharmacist at Sanford Health, both in Fargo, ND. She is also the Residency Program Director for Sanford Imagenetics Clinical Pharmacogenomics PGY2 Pharmacy Residency. She completed a B.S in Microbiology, MPH, and a Pharm.D. all from NDSU in Fargo. Dr. Petry completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Trinity Health in Minot, ND. Dr. Petry's practice and research interests are broad and include the implementation of pharmacogenomics (PGx), the use of PGx in primary and specialty care, and PGx educational and training initiatives, in addition to other interests. She is licensed to practice pharmacy in ND, MN, WI and IN, and is a board certified ambulatory care pharmacist. She participated in the NIH-funded IGNITE (Implementing GeNomics In pracTice) network and is also an investigator on the IGNITE Pragmatic Trial, ADOPT-PGx. She is actively involved in state and national pharmacy professional organizations. Dr. Petry's awards include two time NDSU pharmacy faculty preceptor of the year, two time North Dakota Society of Health-System Pharmacists Pharmacy Practice Literature Award, Rho Chi Kappa Chapter Alumni of the Year, Phi Lambda Sigma Alpha Lambda Chapter Alumni of the Year,and the NDSU College of Health Professions Dean’s Award for Excellence in Research.
