Christina Aquilante, PharmD, FCCP, is a Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Aurora, Colorado. Dr. Aquilante is the Director of the Pharmacogenomics & Clinical Integration Program for the Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. In this capacity, she co-leads a system-wide clinical pharmacogenomics implementation initiative at UCHealth. Dr. Aquilante maintains an active clinical pharmacogenomics research program in cardiovascular diseases, solid organ tranplantation, and clinical implementation, with over 90 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. Her research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, American Heart Association, and private foundations.She is the recipient of the 2019 Chancellor’s Teaching Award from the University of Colorado Graduate School and has delivered Clinical Pharmacogenomics Certificate Training Programs and workshops to over 2000 health care professionals worldwide since 2017.
