Scott V. Anderson, PharmD, MS, CPHIMS, FASHP

ASHP

Scott V. Anderson, PharmD, MS, CPHIMS, FASHP is the director for the Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology at ASHP. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his Master of Science in Health-System Pharmacy Administration at the University of Pittsburgh. He completed a PGY-1 pharmacy residency at UPMC Presbyterian-Shadyside and a PGY-2 pharmacy informatics residency at the University of Virginia Health System. Prior to working with ASHP, he has experience as a pharmacy informaticist and a health-system pharmacy leader in clinical, operations, and purchasing supervisory roles. He has previously served in multiple roles for ASHP and state affiliates, and was honored as the Virginia Society of Health-System Pharmacists Pharmacist of the Year in 2018 and as a Fellow of ASHP in 2022. He currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota and enjoys spending time in the great outdoors.
