Ms. Varintorn (Bank) Aramvareekul, BSPharm, RPh, CPEL, MHSA, MBA, CPHIMS, CPHQ, CSSGB, PMP, SHIMSS, FACHE, is the Administrator of Pharmacy Informatics, Medication Safety and Performance Improvement, Director of the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program, and Director of Georgetown Rx Education Channel, at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Ms. Aramvareekul is a registered pharmacist in DC; she received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. She earned her MBA from Strayer University and MS in health systems administration from Georgetown University. She holds several certifications: Certified Pharmacy Executive Leader, Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management Professional, and Board Certified in Healthcare Management. She has earned Senior status at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Ms. Aramvareekul is a member of Educational Steering Committee of the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology. She served as Program Chair & Moderator at ASHP MCM22. She has served as a content reviewer for poster abstracts and case management studies for the past 16 years, a CV reviewer for early careerists, a reviewer for AJHP, and a reviewer and mentor for HIMSS Global Health Conference. Lastly, Ms. Aramvareekul currently serves as the President of the National Capital Healthcare Executives.
