Kevin T. Fuji, Pharm.D., M.A., is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Sciences at the Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. He completed his Pharm.D. and health services research fellowship focused on patient safety at Creighton University, and his M.A. in Educational Psychology (Quantitative, Qualitative, and Psychometric Methods) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Fuji’s research interests focus on two areas, the impact of health information technology adoption by health care professionals and patients on safety and quality of care, and addressing social determinants of health in individuals with chronic conditions. He is currently the co-principal investigator of a $2.8 million study utilizing a multi-pronged intervention to combat financial stress, food insecurity, and lifestyle barriers in patients with type 2 diabetes. Dr. Fuji is also passionate about supporting and developing future researchers and academicians, including through service on the AACP Aspiring Academics Advisory Committee, member and former chair of the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology’s Professional Development Workgroup, and as a standing member of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s Health Care Research and Training Study Section.
