Joseph Nardolillo is a board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy. In this role, his educational and research activities include ambulatory care, lipidology, health equity, implicit bias, and LGBTQIA+ health. As a member of the team of pharmacists within Rhode Island Primary Care Physicians Corporation (RIPCPC), he supports patients and providers in an academic internal medicine clinic to manage cardiometabolic diseases, support the site’s gender affirming care clinic, and execute population health initiatives. As a member of a team of pharmacists in the larger accountable care organization, Joe has continued to develop workflows and support informatics advancements to capture pharmacist productivity and evaluate the impact of the pharmacy team on value-based care outcomes.
Joe Nardolillo earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy and completed postgraduate trainings with the Indian Health Service and the University of Colorado. Most recently, he earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Health from Wayne State University. His service activities include a variety of leadership, committees, and membership in ASHP, APhA, AACP, National Lipid Associaiton, Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Phi Lambda Sigma, and Pharmacists for Sexual and Gender Health Advocacy Reform and Equity (RxSHARE)
