Melissa Laub, PharmD, BCTXP, BCPS is a Clinical Value-Based Care Pharmacist with Kidneylink, US Renal Care, where she works to optimize care for patients with chronic kidney disease and end-stage kidney disease as well kidney transplant recipients. She obtained her PharmD from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy then completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Rochester, and a PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy Residency at Duke University Hospital. Her previous work experience includes serving as a Clinical Transplant Pharmacist with the kidney/pancreas transplant program at Augusta University Medical Center where she was involved with the PGY2 Ambulatory Care and PGY1 Pharmacy residency programs. Melissa has a variety of experience caring for patients with kidney disease in the inpatient, outpatient, and virtual setting. She has published several articles on the topic of kidney transplantation. She is also an active member of the American Society of Transplantation (AST) and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, including past roles on the executive committees of the AST Transplant Pharmacy Community of Practice and the AST Trainee and Young Faculty Community of Practice.
