Dr. Aimee M. Banks, PharmD, BCPS, MSCS is a certified Multiple Sclerosis (MS) clinical pharmacist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She graduated from The University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy and completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Memphis. Aimee moved to Nashville and joined the Vanderbilt Specialty Pharmacy in 2013. At that time, she piloted specialty pharmacy services in the Comprehensive MS Center, where she continues to serve patients and manage their clinical and specialty pharmacy needs. As a pharmacist integrated full-time in the MS clinic, Aimee has the unique opportunity to work alongside physicians, nurses, social workers, researchers, and other members of the comprehensive care team. This collaborative practice method allows for efficient and coordinated care for patients with MS at Vanderbilt. As a thought leader and subject matter expert in both MS care and specialty pharmacy services, Aimee has been heavily involved with various committees, focus groups, and educational programs throughout her 10 years at Vanderbilt.
