Dr. Hughes has been a member of ASHP since 2016 and has been involved in the Section of Inpatient Care practitioners through the Pharmacy Practice Experiences Precepting Section Advisory Group and more recently the Medication Managment Section Advisory Group. She also has involvement in the Tennessee Society of Health Systems Pharmacy in the Strategic planning committee and the Tennessee Pharmacists Association's Legislative and Regulatory Committee. Dr. Hughes has a passion in a systems based approach to mitigating risk of medication errors in high risk patient populations.
