Mandy Leonard, Pharm.D., BCPS earned her BS in Pharmacy and Doctorate of Pharmacy from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She completed a Drug Information Practice Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. For the past 25 years, Dr. Leonard has been in charge of the Department of Pharmacy Drug Information Service at the Cleveland Clinic Health-System. She is responsible for drug shortages, drug recalls, REMS programs, drug use policy, and formulary management for the Cleveland Clinic Health-System. Dr. Leonard has numerous publications on a variety of drug use policy and formulary management topics, including biosimilars. Additionally, she is an Assistant Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and is the Pharmacology Thread Director. Dr. Leonard is also responsible for coordinating all Cleveland Clinic pharmacy residency programs.
