Dr. Palmer graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy (MCPHS University) with a minor concentration in health psychology.
After graduation, Dr. Palmer completed a pharmacy practice residency at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, MA. She continued on to complete a specialty residency in psychiatry through the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cleveland OH. Following residency, she worked as an assistant, then associate professor for Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (SU COPHS). During this time she obtained her board certification in Pharmacotherapy and Psychiatric Pharmacy.
Currently, she is an associate professor and director of the Structured Student Advising Program at the James L Winkle College of Pharmacy at University of Cincinnati and serves as the incoming Chair of the Board of Pharmacy Specialties Psychiatric Specialty Council. Her current practice is with inpatient psychiaty and partial hospitalization at the Lindner Center of Hope in Mason OH where she assists in the care of a wide variety of patients including schizophrenia, mood and sleep disorders, anxiety, eating disorders, and beyond.
