Deborah Hobbs, Pharm.D. is the Associate Chief, Pharmacy Clinical Services and the PGY1 Residency Program Director at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center (CVVAMC) in Dublin, Georgia. Over the years, Dr. Hobbs practiced Clinical Pharmacy in a variety of settings such as the Community Living Center, Acute and Critical Care Units, and Ambulatory Care. She received a Bachelor of Science from Stetson University and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University College of Pharmacy. Dr. Hobbs has served in leadership roles for the local chapter of GPhA and on Southeastern Residency Conference Steering Committee and as the SERC Chairperson 2021. Dr. Hobbs’ ongoing involvement in academia has included serving as the Designated Education Officer for the Medical Center, Academic Affiliations Committee, APPE/IPPE rotation coordinator, and preceptor for PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents.
