Medication Safety Manager

Bridget Gegorski, Pharm.D., MS, BCSCP is the University Hospitals Health System Medication Safety Department Manager. In this role, she is responsible for collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to develop and maintain safe medication practices. Current projects include coordination of the system medication safety program, USP <800> compliance, sterile compounding compliance, enacting continuous readiness programs and the facilitation of the System Medication Safety Subcommittee. Prior to this role, Dr. Gegorski was a clinical pediatric pharmacist at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital where she worked on numerous pediatric pharmacy initiatives to enhance medication safety, pharmacy practice, and workflow. Dr. Gegorski received her B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharm.D. from the University of Toledo, is a board certified sterile compounding pharmacist, completed a LEAN healthcare certification with Kent State University, and has obtained her Master of Science in Pharmacy with a graduate certificate for Medication Use and Patient Safety from the University of Florida.
