Christina C. Hannon is the System Pharmacy Director of Research and Education of the Midwest Region of Advocate Health. She attended Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts where she received a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy Studies, PharmD, and MBA. Christina completed a PGY1&2 Combined Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency with Advocate Aurora Health in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and holds a board certification in Pharmacotherapy. Following residency, she served as the Director of Pharmacy Services at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. In her current role over research and education, Christina directs the system’s Investigational Drug Services program, the vision for AAH’s 20+ PGY1 and PGY2 residency programs, as well as pharmacy education affiliations and training programs.
Christina was an ASHP Regional Delegate for the state of Wisconsin from 2019 – 2023 and now serves as a member of the ASHP Multi-Hospital Pharmacy Executive Committee for the Section of Pharmacy Practice Leaders. She has presented at ASHP Midyear Clinical Meetings between 2015 – 2023 on topics ranging from telehealth workflows and the pharmacy technician workforce to the operational considerations of removing non-medications from pharmacy formulary. In 2023, Christina was awarded the Distinguished Young Alumni Award from her alma mater in recognition of professional excellence and successful young careers of College of Pharmacy Alumni.
