Ben began his career in inpatient pharmacy in 2010 as a pharmacy technician and progressed to a pharmacy intern in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He obtained his Doctorate of Pharmacy from Ferris State University in 2016 and went on to complete a PGY-1 residency at Trinity Health Grand Rapids. Afterwards, he served as an inpatient staff pharmacist at Trinity Health Muskegon for several years, then transitioned into a Clinical Coordinator of Pharmacy Systems and Operations role. He is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy and has completed the ASHP Pharmacy Revenue Cycle Management Professional Certificate. He currently serves as the Clinical Pharmacy Manager at Trinity Health Muskegon, where he oversees inpatient pharmacists, maintains accredidation standards, medication safety initiatives, and pharmacy operations. He also serves as a leader of a team of financial coordinators that support the organization's hospital-based outpatient infusion department.
