Dr. Chelsie Heesch received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin Madison – School of Pharmacy, she completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System in Tucson, AZ, and her PGY-2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency at the South Texas VA in San Antonio, TX. For the past 3 years, she has been the Associate Chief of Pharmacy – Ambulatory Care for the Tomah VA while also maintaining a clinical practice in the outpatient mental health clinic as a Mental Health Clinical Pharmacy Practitioner (CPP). She serves on the VHA Clinical Pharmacy Program Office Mental Health Pharmacist Subject Matter Expert Workgroup. She is also a member of the CPP Rural Veteran Access Mental Health Rural Expansion Access and Coordinated Health Efforts in SUD Workgoup and the Medication Management in Pain Management Teams Workgroup. Dr. Heesch enjoys coaching CPPs and Clinical Pharmacy Leaders with the CPPO Mentorship Program.
