Eric Arlia, MBA, RPh is the Vice President of Pharmacy Services for Hartford HealthCare (HHC) based in Hartford Connecticut. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Rhode island College of Pharmacy and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Bryant University (College). Eric's area of professional interest is informatics. He was part of a team the implemented the first computerized physician order entry system in the state of Rhode Island in 2002. Eric has worked in various capacities at Hartford HealthCare for the past 18 years and developed and implemented the system pharmacy model there. He has overseen significant growth of pharmacy practice at HHC in oncology infusion, retail, specialty pharmacy, and ambulatory care over the past five years. Eric is a recipient of the Young Pharmacist of the Year from the Rhode Island Pharmacists Association in 1997 and the Paul G Pierpaoli award for contributions to the practice of Pharmacy in Connecticut by the Connecticut Society of Health System Pharmacists in 2021.
