Marsha Crader, PharmD, FASHP is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is also one of the co-leaders for the inpatient and outpatient Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs at St. Bernards Healthcare. Dr. Crader earned her degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and completed antimicrobial stewardship certificate training programs through the Society for Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (acute care) and Making a Difference in Infectious Diseases (advanced). She is interested in efforts related to antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and outcomes along with training healthcare professionals in Infectious Diseases. Dr. Crader currently serves as the chair of the Arkansas Association of Health-System Pharmacists (AAHP) Antimicrobial Stewardship Task Force and the pharmacist co-chair of the Arkansas Department of Health's Antimicrobial Stewardship Sub-committee of the Healthcare Associated Infections Advisory Committee. Dr. Crader has been involved in numerous roles within the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and its state affiliates including being a former member of the ASHP Commission on Affiliate Relations and former president of AAHP. AAHP has previously recognized Dr. Crader as the New Practitioner of the Year and Clinician of the Year, and ASHP named her as an ASHP Fellow in 2020.
