Sarah F. Hale, PharmD BCPPS is the Director of Pharmacy at Geisinger Medical Center and the PGY1/PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) Residency Program Director. She is graduate of Duquesne University’s Mylan School of Pharmacy. Sarah joined Geisinger Medical Center in 2007 as a clinical pharmacist in pediatrics. She completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY and is a board-certified pediatric pharmacist. Prior to her current role, Sarah served as the Clinical Coordinator from 2016 to 2018 and as Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Geisinger Medical Center. She also serves as a preceptor for the PGY1 and PGY-2 Critical Care residency programs. Her professional interests include pharmacy leadership, medication safety, pediatric critical care, preceptor development, and pharmacy education.
