Evan S Frasure III, PharmD, BCPS is currently the Director - Controlled Substance Diversion Prevention for the department of pharmacy at Duke Health. Evan graduated with his PharmD from Idaho State University. He went on to complete a PGY1 residency at Carolinas Medical Center – NorthEast in Concord, NC. After completing his residency training, he worked as the supervisor at the outpatient pharmacy at CMC - NorthEast where he also served on the Board of Director's for the local community free clinic. Evan was hired at Duke as the Coordinator – Continuity of Care, established the pharmacy technician medication history program and then moved into various administrative, quality, regulatory, and business services roles. In his current position as Director - Controlled Substances Diversion Prevention he leads the multi-disciplinary diversion prevention committee and works closely with leader across the organization prevention efforts while continuing to oversee other regulatory compliance efforts.
