Pharmacist Intern
The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy
Quinn is a P3 student at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy (UTCOP). Prior to pursuing pharmacy, she completed two years of undergraduate prerequisite work and a comprehensive 34-credit hour pharmacy technician program. Quinn's passions lie in women’s health, HIV, health-systems administration, and independent pharmacy, which she actively pursues through involvement in her community. For this academic year, Quinn serves as her university’s National Community Pharmacists Association (UT-NCPA) Vice President, Student National Pharmaceutical Association (UT-SNPhA) Corresponding Secretary, and Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists (UT-SSHP) Pediatric Committee Chair. Quinn is also recognized as a Lester Entrepreneurial Scholar, a business program unique to her college that allows pharmacy students to develop entrepreneurial, innovation, and leadership skills. She also volunteers on the ASHP Student Society Development Advisory Group as the 23-24 Vice Chair. Alongside her UTCOP commitments, Quinn works as a hospital pharmacy technician and engages in various community service projects, such as charity galas, vaccine clinics, and community health screenings. This past summer, Quinn had the honor of completing the ASHP Summer Internship, which deepened her understanding of pharmacy practice and allowed her to develop creative, critical, and analytical thinking skills unique to association pharmacy. Quinn's time with ASHP also provided her with valuable insights into the future of the pharmacy profession and further fueled her passion and commitment to excellence.
