Tyler Darcy is a seasoned Pharmacy Training and Development Manager at Boston Medical Center (BMC), known for managing the PTCB-recognized Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Since June 2019, Tyler has excelled in developing partnerships that provide internship opportunities to high school students, enhancing the onboarding and training for outpatient pharmacy services, and spearheading quality assurance and regulatory projects for medication safety and accreditation.
His expertise is also imparted through his role as a Pharmacy Technician Program Instructor at Roxbury Community College since January 2022, where he conducts didactic instruction and creates engaging lab simulations, including sterile compounding activities.
Prior to his current roles, Tyler provided astute financial analysis for the 340B Drug Pricing Program at Massachusetts General Hospital and ensured compliance at Tufts Medical Center.
Tyler's academic credentials include an MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University and a BS in Applied Social Sciences from New England College.
Tyler chairs the Executive Committee of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Pharmacy Technician Forum (PTF) for 2023-2024, having served as Vice Chair the preceding year.
Tyler holds multiple certifications from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and is a licensed pharmacy technician in Massachusetts, embodying a dedication to excellence and education in pharmacy services.
