Pharmacy Informatics Coordinator
Advocate Health
I am currently a clinical informatics pharmacist at Advocate Aurora Health, a system with retail, clinic, and hospital-based pharmacy practice settings. My interests reside within the realm of computer-driven prescribing of medications using artificial intelligence, neural networking, and modeling. As such, advances in clinical decision support tools are an area of intrigue. In pursuing these areas of interest with a desire to be a part of the national conversation, I have and continue to be an active member of the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology Section advisory group. Outside of ASHP, I have been fortunate enough to be able to present new ideas related to the use of existing technologies including novel approaches to titratable infusion ordering and publish papers on artificial intelligence utility in pharmacy practice. Through this type of involvement, I hope to help usher in change through adoption of new technologies and practices that improve patient safety and drive efficiency of care.
