Amber Lanae Martirosov, PharmD, BCACP, BCPS is an Associate Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Wayne State University Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She is also a Clinical Specialist of Ambulatory Care and Pulmonary Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. MI. Dr. Martirosov is the PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency Program Director at Henry Ford Health. Dr. Martirosov earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Virginia Commonwealth University College of Pharmacy in Richmond, VA in 2011. She also completed a Master of Pharmacotherapy/Residency at the University of Texas in San Antonio in 2013. She also received her board certification in pharmacotherapy in 2013 and ambulatory care in 2019. She serves as chair of the Michigan Society of Health Systems Pharmacist's Educational Affairs Committee, on the Michigan Pharmacist Associations Educational Affairs Committee, and on the ASHP SACP for Clinical Practice Advancement. Dr. Martirosov recently designed and implemented a pharmacist-driven clinic for the management of Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD). The clinic provides comprehensive therapy management, medication access/ adherence assistance, and patient education for patients with ILD. The clinic also serves as a training site for both pharmacy residents and students with an emphasis on identifying barriers to proper inhaler technique and improving adherence to medications. The clinic was awarded the ASHP Best Practice Award in 2023.
