Sara Grossman, PharmD, is a Co-Director of the Leonardi Institute for Health Analytics and AI at LIU Pharmacy (Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences) where she also serves as an adjust assistant professor of pharmacy practice. In her role at the College, Dr. Grossman has established partnerships with healthcare organizations and other user groups for the provision of drug information services to both healthcare professionals and consumers. She was instrumental in facilitating the development, funding, and launch of the first post-PharmD fellowship at LIU Pharmacy, the focus of which is on drug information and medical communications. Since that time, Dr. Grossman has been instrumental in bringing other post-PharmD fellowship programs to fruition at the College.
Dr. Grossman serves as a lecturer in a drug information and literature evaluation course and precepts students completing an advanced pharmacy practice experience in drug information. Dr. Grossman has authored numerous articles on issues pertaining to drug information and pharmacy practice, in general. She enjoys mentoring students and serves as an advisor for a number of student professional organizations at LIU Pharmacy. On a national level, she was recently elected to serve in the executive council of the Rho Chi Society as the Region I Councilor.
