Yohanna Berhanu is a student pharmacist at the West Virginia University (WVU) School of Pharmacy in Morgantown, West Virginia. In addition to her passion for pharmacy-related therapeutic outcomes research, she also works as a researcher in translational stroke research. Yohanna has an interest in the field of Neurology and hopes to one day practice as a Clinical Pharmacist in this field. She currently holds the positions of WVU American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) President, WVU School of Pharmacy Class of 2024 Representative, West Virginia Pharmacists Association (WVPA) chairperson, and founder of the Student Engagement Committee, and serves on the WVPA Podcast Committee. Yohanna's professional memberships include APhA-ASP, WVPA, Rho Chi Honors Society, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SSHP), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), Student College of Clinical Pharmacy (SCCP), Industry Pharmacists Organization (IPhO), and the American Geriatrics Society (AGS). Moreover, as a Rho Chi member, Yohanna also volunteers in peer tutoring.
