Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy
Karly Harper is a fourth-year pharmacy student at Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy in Nashville, TN. Currently, Karly is in the process of obtaining her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry at Middle Tennessee State University with a Spanish minor, while also pursuing her Doctorate in Pharmacy and Master of Management in Healthcare degree at Lipscomb. As a student, Karly has gained experience in community and ambulatory care pharmacy through her positions as a pharmacy technician/intern at MTSU Campus Pharmacy and Kroger Pharmacy. During pharmacy school, Karly has been involved in several organizations including the American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AAPS), Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP), Phi Delta Chi (PDC), American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), Christian Pharmacy Fellowship International (CPFI), American Pharmacist Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP), and the LUCOP SPiRiT team. Through this participation, Karly has been able to gain valuable leadership skills within APhA, the Tennessee Pharmacist Association (TPA), and the SPiRiT team, and has also been recognized for these roles by being invited to join the Delta Alpha Chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS) and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). Karly plans on pursuing a career in ambulatory care pharmacy.
