Hannah Holloway is a fourth-year pharmacy candidate at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. Her future pursuits include exploring residency to gain knowledge and experience in various fields of clinical pharmacy. As the Women’s Health Initiative Co-Chair, she received a national certification of achievement at the 2022 American Pharmacist Association conference. Through this role, she was able to advocate for legislation for ‘Pharmacist Prescribing Hormonal Contraception’ in order to increase health care access to rural Georgia. Throughout her professional career, she has held positions as a pharmacy intern at both Piedmont Augusta Hospital and a local retail pharmacy. She also acted as the outpatient specialty care intern for an intensive outpatient facility in Athens, Ga where she served as an active member of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
