Tanner Blackwell is a Pharm.D. candidate in the class of 2023 at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy. During his time in pharmacy school, he has been an active researcher in the lab of Ryan S. Funk Pharm.D. Ph.D. where he has completed two projects with the intent to publish in medical journals. These projects have focused on the use of rituximab in anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated vasculitis and the pharmacology of methotrexate in the treatment of autoimmune arthritis. He is interested in pursuing a residency post-graduation. His clinical areas of interest are precision medicine in autoimmune diseases, treatment of comorbidities in immunosuppressed patients, and solid organ transplantation.
