Pharmacy Student
MCPHS University - Boston
Sally Scalisi is a pharmacy student at MCPHS University in Boston, Massachusetts. She is currently a PY4 student and has finished her internal medicine rotation with great success and a great passion for inpatient care. For the past 4 years, Sally has been a member of ASHP and has conducted numerous research projects and presentations regarding the different types of health-system pharmacy jobs available as a graduate. A mainstay in her pharmacy school career has been collaboration with other students to present on projects involving patient-centered care in an inpatient setting. Sally is currently employed at a retail pharmacy as the lead intern; her duties involve teaching new students about workflow and most importantly, patient safety measures taken at the pharmacy. She is extremely interested and eager in completing a PGY-1 residency and would like to gain further knowledge and skills as a pharmacist in a hospital setting. Sally's long-term career goal is to practice as an inpatient clinical pharmacist and be a mentor to new students by teaching her own knowledge and providing expertise.
