PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident

Jillian Searle, PharmD, BS Health Sciences, is a PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center (SFHMC) and an Adjunct Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy. She graduated from the University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy and Physician Assistant Studies in May of 2022 with the highest honors. Jillian also earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in 2018 from Goodwin University, graduating summa cum laude. As a student, Jillian completed most of her Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPEs) at SFHMC, while also traveling to Gallup, New Mexico, to work with the Navajo Native American community at the Indian Health Service. She is an active member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Rho Chi Honor Society, Connecticut Society of Health-System Pharmacists (CSHP) and Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity. Jillian is a tutor and mentor to pharmacy students and serves on the CSHP Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force. She also serves on the Diversion Committee at SFHMC. She is passionate about providing high-quality care to underprivileged patient populations, teaching and education, and substance use disorders in healthcare.
