Aashtha S. Shah is a third-year pharmacy student at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. She received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The Ohio State University. She served as a summer pharmacy intern at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in the Adult Medicine, Emergency, and Surgery pharmacy division, and is a current Outpatient/ Ambulatory pharmacy intern at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a member of the Student Society of Health-System Pharmacy, she spearheads all pharmacy operations at the Columbus Free Clinic, a non-profit clinic serving underserved populations in Columbus, Ohio. She has also served as a graduate teaching assistant for methods of advocacy in pharmacy. Her passion for advocacy drive her passion of pursuing a career in clinical pharmacy and academia. As the inaugural recipient of the Dr. Julie Johnson Translation and Clinical Research grant, she has developed an interest in pharmacoepidemiology research and project management. After graduation, she plans to pursue a clinical residency with an interest in adult medicine.
