Born and raised in Queens, Amna M Aslam is a rising senior at St. John’s University working towards an M.S in Pharmacy Administration- Health Economics Outcomes and Research (HEOR). At the age of 25, Amna holds an M.B.A in Risk Management and Insurance & Marketing Management and B.S in Criminal Justice.
Currently, Amna conducts research in the mental health field and is recognized for her research internationally by the International Society of Pharmacoeconomics Outcomes and Research (ISPOR), Master of Business Administration Association (MBAA), St. John’s University, and more. Moreover, Amna is a recipient of several travel grants for the sensitivity and importance of her research.
Being an internationally recognized Co-Chair at ISPOR, Amna is a robust leader who utilizes her voice to acknowledge and verbalize controversial matters society hesitates to discuss. As a Muslim woman, Amna aspires to provide women with a platform to raise their voices through the 3 E’s- Education, Equality, and Empowerment.
During her free time, Amna likes to travel, watch shows, read books, and spend time with family and friends — Oh, and let’s not forget about her love for ice cream!!
