Allison Bicker is a P3 student in the Doctor of Pharmacy program at Northeastern University. Allison also works at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) as a Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership intern, a position she created. While serving in this position, she has worked directly with the Director of Pharmacy Operations on various projects, including designing a dynamic virtual project board for the department, creating an extensive IV Order Optimization Cost-Savings Protocol, and leading the implementation of a medication tracking system for hand-delivered medications. Outside of this position, Allison has also completed clinical research and a medication use evaluation with pharmacists at MGH.
At Northeastern, Allison has been very involved with her local SSHP chapter where she currently serves as President. During her term, she has created a state-wide student-pharmacist mentorship program in Massachusetts with the ASHP state affiliate. Ms. Bicker concurrently serves as a member of the Pharmacy Student Forum Career and Leadership Development Advisory Group. She was most recently awarded the “Student of the Year Award” by the Massachusetts Society of Health-System Pharmacists in April 2022.
