Dr. Traci White, PharmD, PhC, BCGP, received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy in and completed a PGY-1 residency at the University of Washington Medical Center. She is a board-certified geriatric pharmacist and completed the ASHP Foundation Pain and Palliative Care Traineeship in 2013. Dr. White currently works as a clinical pharmacy and palliative care specialist at the Memorial Medical Center Cancer Center in Las Cruces, NM. She has served as the Assistant Director of the UNM/NMSU Cooperative Pharmacy Program and is currently the Regional Coordinator of Experiential Education and Assistant Professor for the UNM College of Pharmacy. She has served as the Vice Chair and Chair of the ASHP Section Advisory Group on Pain Management and Palliative Care. Additionally, she has served on the NMSHP Pharmacy Practice and Legislative Committees and is a past state ASHP delegate. Dr. White is passionate about improving access to quality palliative care in New Mexico, improving communication about terminal illness and providing end-of-life education to students, healthcare professionals and community members. She is also an advocate for advancing pharmacy practice as a provider and working and training within interdisciplinary teams.
