After graduating from the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy Meghan completed a pharmacy practice residency with Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah and a specialty residency in infectious diseases at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Now at University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy she teaches infectious diseases and clinical problem solving. Her practice site is the University of Colorado Hospital where she precepts learners on infectious diseases rotations. Her areas of research include antibiotic stewardship, antibiotic adverse reactions and allergies, and active learning.
Dr. Jeffres is a past board member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists and current board member of MAD-ID. She is a co-founder of the Infectious Diseases Educator Network. Find her on Twitter @PharmerMeg.
