Shailly Shah, PharmD, MS, BCPS is the Inpatient Director of Pharmacy at Emory University Hospital Midtown, a 550-bed Academic-Community Medical Center in Atlanta, GA. She completed her PharmD degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy and her PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals and Clinics combined with a Masters of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a specialization in health-system pharmacy administration. Prior to her tenure at Emory Healthcare, Shailly was the Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. In addition to focusing on advancing the practice of pharmacy in all areas, Shailly has a strong interest in fostering leadership development and ensuring she and her leaders practice leadership in an "evidence-based management" approach and enjoys evaluating and adapting leadership related books, articles, podcasts, and talks into her leadership style. Additionally, Shailly is a course coordinator for the UNC Masters of Science in Pharmaceutical Services for the Leadership Seminar course.
